Richard Kämmerlings

Richard Kämmerlings was born in Hüls am Niederrhein, a town in north western Germany, in 1969. He studied German, history and philosophy in Cologne and Tübingen and works as a literary correspondent for the Welt and Welt am Sonntag national newspapers. In 2011, his book “Das kurze Glück der Gegenwart (in English, “the short-term happiness of the contemporary”): German Literature since 1989” was published. He lives in Berlin.
