Hazem Saghieh

Hazem Saghieh is a journalist and author. He was born in 1951 as the son of Lebanese parents in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and grew up in Beirut. Saghieh is an editor with the Arabic-language magazine Al-Hayat. From 1974 to 1988, he worked for the Lebanese daily newspaper As-Safir. He lives in Beirut.
