To learn how to watch films, to talk about them, not to be seduced but to discuss them critically - that is priceless. It is the best foundation for media competence. Especially in our times of fake news, the lying press and conspiracy theories, children should be taught as early as possible how to process information. You have to be taught media competence, but unfortunately this is still lacking in Germany.
